Strict-mode rulesexpand
Each module has a hard time cap. The module auto-submits when the timer reaches 0.
Module 2 difficulty is decided by your Module 1 accuracy (cut: 70%).
If you accidentally close the tab, you can resume the same session (state is saved locally).
Scaled score range: 200–800.
How real CB scoring works (we mirror it)expand
The College Board embeds 2 pretest questions per module on every real DSAT/PSAT — unscored items they use to calibrate future tests.
You can't tell them apart from scored questions, so you answer every question as if it counts.
To match real exam scoring, we randomly tag 2 questions per module as pretest. You'll answer them normally, but they won't count toward your score — just like the real test.
Your raw score will be out of 20 per module (operational items), not the 22 you answered.

Take a 10-minute break
On the real test, this break is mandatory. Step away from the screen, stretch, hydrate. Math section starts when the timer hits zero — or you can skip ahead if you're ready now.

About pretest items: The real DSAT/PSAT excludes 2 questions per module from your score — College Board uses them to calibrate future tests. To match the actual exam, we randomly tagged the same number as pretest. They're excluded from the raw count above.
